CIRA Report: Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation’s Ties to China’s Defense Sector

A report released by CIRA has detailed how China’s Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC) maintains a variety of ties to China’s defense sector, including an ongoing relationship with CETC, a state-owned developer of military electronics. When producing the report, CIRA analysts made use of SOSi Exovera’s proprietary analytical toolset.
