Ed Francis is a Senior Language-Enabled Analyst at Sosi’s Center for Intelligence Research and Analysis. His research interests include sources and methods for open source research; China’s information technology industries and defense-industrial base; and U.S. trade and technology policy. Mr. Francis received a B.A. from Middlebury College in 2005, majoring in Chinese and Political Science. He holds a J.D. degree from the College of William and Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law (2014) and a B.S. in Computer Science (2017) from Oregon State University.
